The first step is to get a PCB circuit board, first record the models, parameters, and positions of all the vital components on the paper, especially the direction of the diode, the three-tube, and the direction of the IC notch. It's best to take two pictures of the location of the element with a digital camera.


The second step is to remove all components and remove the tin from the PAD hole. Clean the PCB circuit board with alcohol, and then put it into the scanner. When the scanner scans, you need to slightly increase the scanned pixels to get a clearer image. Start POHTOSHOP, scan the silk screen surface in color, and save it. the file and print it out for use.


The third step is to lightly polish the two layers of TOPLAYER and BOTTOMLAYER with water gauze paper until the copper film is shiny, put it into the scanner, start PHOTOSHOP, and scan the two layers in color. Note that the PCB circuit board must be placed horizontally and vertically in the scanner, otherwise the scanned image will not be available and the file will be saved.


The fourth step is to adjust the contrast and brightness of the canvas to make the part with copper film and the part without copper film have a strong contrast, and then turn the second image into black and white to check whether the lines are clear, if not, repeat this step. If it is clear, save the picture as the black and white BMP format files TOPBMP and BOT.BMP. If there is any problem with the picture, you can also use PHOTOSHOP to repair and correct it.


The fifth step is to convert the two BMP format files into PROTEL format files respectively, and transfer the two layers in PROTEL. For example, the positions of PAD and VIA after the two layers are basically the same, indicating that the first few steps are well done. If If there is a deviation, repeat the third step.


The Sixth step, convert the BMP of the TOP layer to TOP.PCB, pay attention to convert it to the SILK layer, which is the yellow layer, and then you can trace the line on the TOP layer, and place the device according to the drawing in the second step. After painting, delete the SILK layer.


The seventh step, convert the BMP of the BOT layer to BOT.PCB, pay attention to convert it to the SILK layer, which is the yellow layer, and then you can draw lines on the BOT layer. After painting, delete the SILK layer.

The eighth step is to transfer the TOP.PCB and BOT.PCB circuit boards in PROTEL, and it is OK to combine them into one picture.


The ninth step, use a laser printer to print the TOPLAYER and BOTTOMLAVER on the transparent film (1:1 ratio), put the film on the PCB, and compare whether there is any error. If it is correct, you are done.


Others: If it is a multi-layer circuit board, it must be carefully polished to the inner layer inside, and the third to ninth steps are repeated at the same time. Of course, the naming of the graphics is also different, which should be determined according to the number of layers. Generally, the double-sided circuit board should be copied. It is much simpler than the multi-layer circuit board. The multi-layer circuit board is prone to inaccurate alignment, so the multi-layer circuit board must be copied carefully and carefully (the internal vias and non-conductive holes are easy to appear. question).
