To ensure the high quality and reliability of assembled PCBs, PCB manufacturers and assemblers must inspect boards at various stages in the manufacturing and assembly process to eliminate surface defects. Furthermore, timely and professional inspections can lead to defects exposed prior to electrical testing and facilitate data accumulation for Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Inspection conditions of PCBA circuit board
In order to ensure the high quality and reliability of assembled PCBs, PCB manufacturers and assemblers must inspect the boards at different stages of the manufacturing and assembly process to ensure zero defects on the surface of the PCB. Additionally, timely and professional inspections can lead to defects exposed prior to electrical testing and facilitate data accumulation for Statistical Process Control (SPC). Today, the editor will introduce to you what are the inspection conditions and standards of PCBA circuit boards!
1. In order to improve the qualified rate of products
With the improvement of product qualification rate, the product pass rate will be greatly improved. PCBA inspection is a link in the entire production process of PCBA processing and an important means to control product quality.
2. In order to obtain a better user experience
If conditions permit, each product requires basic testing, such as ICT, FCT, and some testing, such as fatigue testing, stress testing in harsh environments, aging testing, and sampling products that can only be tested, we will have a bottom in our hearts. Only products that can stand the test will be loved by users. If problems are found during the testing process, we can also make corrections and adjustments in time to make the whole product more complete and avoid serious consequences after the product goes on the market.
3. Inspection conditions of PCBA circuit board
1. In order to prevent parts from being contaminated, you must choose EOS/ESD full protective gloves or fingertips, and wear an electrostatic ring. The light source is white or fluorescent. The light intensity must be higher than 100 lux and be clearly analyzable and visible within 10 seconds.
2. Inspection method: put the product about 40 cm away from the eyes, about 45 degrees up and down, and check visually or with a magnifying glass.
3. Inspection standard: (According to QS9000 grade? Sampling = O, AQL = 0.4%; special customer requirements, determined according to customer acceptance standards)
4. Sampling plan: MIL-STD-105E secondary standard single sampling
5. Judgment inspection standard: serious defect (CR) AQL0%
6. Major Disadvantage (MA) AQL0.4%
7. A minor defect (MI) AQL0.65%
Four, PCBA board inspection standard
1. Serious defect (indicated by CR): any defect that is sufficient to cause injury to people or machines or endanger life safety, for example: non-compliance with safety regulations/burning of machines/electric shock.
2. Main defect (indicated by MA): the defect that may cause damage to the product, abnormal function or affect the service life of the product due to material reasons.
3. Minor defects (indicated by MI): do not affect the function and service life of the product, have defects in appearance, and have slight defects or differences in mechanism assembly.
The above are the inspection conditions and standards of PCBA circuit boards, hoping to provide you with some references!
